Data Science
The Data Science team played a crucial role in the Eco8 capstone program, contributing to the project’s objective of sustainable development and environmental protection on Jeju Island. Upon collection and analysis of review data from application users, develop analysis tools, create dashboards, and visualize user data to understand behavior patterns and make informed decisions for improvements. Aimed to provide data-driven insights that support the project’s sustainable development goals and enhance the overall effectiveness of the application.
UI/UX & Design
For this project, our task was to improve the design of an application aimed to digitize a physical ‘Wind Map’, a popular tool used by residents of Jeju Island for engaging in activities supporting sustainability goals. We were provided with some initial screens, which are shown below. Our final deliverables include a redesigned flow for UX and conducted case studies for a chatbot feature. We leveraged agile development methodologies to iterate and deliver high-quality features, to create a functional and convenient application that drives engagement in sustainable activities.
Application Development
The main objective was to deploy an application that promotes eco-friendly practices and enhances the relationship between the residents of Jeju Island and the island’s beautiful natural environment. By leveraging technology and innovation, we aim to provide a user-centric and intuitive application experience that fosters sustainable behaviors. We implemented innovative solutions to revitalize local stores, fostering collaboration with eco-friendly companies and promoting sustainable economic growth.
